A reader sent me this screenshot of TV show Leverage, which I had never heard of. Turns out that my top choice for the name of the online publishing empire I’m building, future parent company for The MKX® is already taken… and they specialize in pigments. Most people think that a last name with 5 consonants but only 1 vowel would be rarer. They’d be surprised.
Feel free to suggest what I should call my online publishing empire, because I’m out of ideas.
It finally rained… and it rained hard in Austin all weekend. But it’s still pretty dry out there which reminded me of these very famous TV commercials from a very successful water conservation campaign in Mexico all the way back in 1983. What I did not know is that the kid in the ads is the son of comedian Enrique “El Polivoz” Cuenca. Check them after the break…
Shameless plug: In case you missed the world premiere of Glam Girls on TeleHit last Thursday, you can go to the official website and watch the full first episode. That’s right: no need to panic anymore.
On the photo, my brothers and I posing with Glam Girls villain Fernanda de la Vega (Yael Sandler). Mark my word: She’s going to make other Glam Girls cry… she’s sooo evil.
My dad recently started watching The Sopranos. Back in the nineties he was in the clothing manufacturing business. The other day he got really excited: on Episode 2 of season 1, Paulie is shown wearing a shirt he made. Quite random. I actually think I remember this particular shirt.
