Killing Comment Spam Dead
I’m sick of getting comment spam. Sure, I need penis enlargement pills, viagra, online poker systems and a fake diploma… but I don’t need it advertised all over my blog[1].
So, after waking up to see a few dozen advertisements posted all over the place, I decided to do something about it: I installed MT-Blacklist. We’ll see how well it works.
[1]: Not true.
Team America
I finally saw Team America: World Police last night.
Here are my thoughts (not that anyone cares):
Very funny, but not as funny as Napoleon Dynamite
Best Scene: The Cairo Tavern (if you get it, you are an ignorant moron – or you have a life, one of the two). Sorry Puppet Sex scene.
Best Puppet: Kim Jong II
Funniest dialog: Backstage with the cast of Cats
All in all, a well spent $8. I recommend it.
Congratulations to Ronyt and Lyle
My cousin Ronyt and my new cousin Lyle got married last Sunday in San Diego, California. I put some photos online.
The Death of Superman

Christopher Reeve, the actor who became famous for playing Superman in the 1978, 1980, 1983, and 1987 passed away last Sunday from complications due to his condition. After he was paralyzed in an equestrian competition in 1995, Reeve not only put a human face on spinal cord injury but he motivated neuroscientists around the world to conquer the most complex diseases of the brain and central nervous system. (from his biography). He played a hero on the screen and in real life.
Rest in peace.

Blogs are now fashionable
Two new blogs by friends are online, joining classic’s such as Yosi’s Coffee&Concrete and Beavis’ Naked Funhouse.
First, Yan Kirsch has uploaded Greye (which means hemorrhoids in Yiddish). He updates the blog mainly from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The other new blog is maintained in Barcelona by none other than the one and only Johnny Kings. Johnny is famous for his signature chocolate milkshakes and is Diego’s older brother (interestingly, Johnny’s last name is Kings but Diego’s last name is Reyes). His blog is El Turmeque (which means hemorrhoids in Cataln – although Johnny is really Colombian).
On the other hand, I’m very dissappointed at Aizik who hasn’t touched his blog since June 15. Shame on you!
Coffee&Concrete
Yosi Levinson‘s new blog is now online: Coffee&Concrete.
It now has the honor (shame?) of being a permanent link on the friends sidebar.
So, if you somehow end up here, click on that link and go read something more interesting.
The children of Iraq
I have refrained so far from any political commentary related to the war of Iraq. But an image has reached me straight from Baghdad that deserves to be shown to the world:

Shana Tova!
Have a great 5765.
