This is one of the most fun things you can do with only a few friends and a camera: Shake your head side-to-side vigorously while relaxing its muscles as much as you can; then someone takes a picture. The result is a beautiful still-capture of motion, like those milk drop pictures.

It’s really not a new thing. Read more to see a few we did, and there are many others at the official site Jowlers.com.

Random swine flu notes

porky
  1. I received an email forward saying that the whole swine flu scare is a conspiracy theory by the Mexican government. This pissed me off: misinformation can be deadly in this case. Readers in Mexico and elsewhere: follow all indications and don’t spread this junk. Bill Gates and AOL paying you millions for forwarding an email is harmless enough, but this isn’t. Use common sense.
  2. XKCD‘s take on the Swine Flu. Funny, but not their best.
  3. Swine flu hits Israel, but they want to change its name. Give me a break.
  4. A Google Map tracking infections world-wide. Nothing in Austin yet.

English with Andy 21/13: “Cockatoo”

Note: That handsome jacket that the model leaning on the hood of the Camaro babe-magnet is wearing is available for sale. Andrés himself designed it. Yes, not only is he cute, rich, and proficient in English, but he also has a killer fashion sense. As seen in The Sopranos

My dad recently started watching The Sopranos. Back in the nineties he was in the clothing manufacturing business. The other day he got really excited: on Episode 2 of season 1, Paulie is shown wearing a shirt he made. Quite random. I actually think I remember this particular shirt.

Six seasons of The Sopranos non-stop. Can you top that?
