For day 3 (Friday, March 20th), the original plan was to see The Proclaimers or Tricky and Devo. This is where not having a badge really hurt. So I ended up at Dirty Dog Bar to see some more Latin American bands.

Superlasciva: Cool Argentinian rock band. I had never heard about them but based on the number of views on the YouTube video I posted of them, they are pretty popular. I like that they use an accordeon. Too bad none of their CDs can be found on iTunes nor Amazon.
Toy Selectah: Toy Hernández of Control Machete is DJ’ing on the side, but instead of your usual techno/electronic DJ, he mixes Mexican tropical and cumbia music with urban rythms in a surprisingly fun and danceable combination.
Doctor Krápula: They played again. It seems odd to me that several bands played more than once, I don’t recall that being the case in previous years. In any case, you can read about it in my review from two days prior.
La Gusana Ciega: A pretty big Mexican rock band from the 90’s broke up in 2002. They are back together now and put quite a great show. I was really happy to catch them.
