Esther Cory was bored and used some work equipment to scan a sand dollar. For her trouble, Micro Photonics Inc., the makers of the equipment, selected what she did as Image of the Month. For that she won a large sum of cash, an award at a ceremony, and a free trip to the headquarters in Belgium. Nah, she just got the mention and the world’s admiration. Here it is:
